My favorite cocktail right now is the dirty martini. What I like about this painting is the strong contrast between the dark blue background and yellow color of the drink. The olives and pepperoncini contribute to the yellow color of an otherwise mild-colored drink. My favorite part to paint was the tiny glass bowl of olives in the lower right.
